Shore and Swim Time!!
Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today we woke up after a fun night of rafting with our friends on Breakaway. We then sailed to West End, where we were COVID tested. After some aggressive nose swabbing, we ran off to explore a few shops - most notably a local surf shop where some of us picked up souvenirs such as BVI T-shirts as well as a smoothie shop in which our tastebuds eagerly welcomed. Afterward, we had phone time where we chatted with our friends and family, started an Aqua Marine snap group chat, and watched YouTube videos of Omar and Nico playing saxophone. Once the group chat had been established, and we had listened to lots of saxophone music, we motored to Sandy Spit, where we enjoyed swim time with the shippies on Liberty. After lots of swimming, we were welcomed back to our boat with a full English breakfast for dinner prepared by Skipper Cate. At Squeeze tonight, we laughed about our first impressions of each other, and with cleanup underway, we’re looking forward to an AQ tradition of writing cards.
