Staff Update Day 1

Location: West End, Tortola

The staff of Vie En Rose is so excited about our shipmates to arrive! We’ve been busy prepping the boats with all materials and food we need to have a wonderful 17 days. We’re keen to start teaching diving, sailing, and marine biology to our shipmates, who will be participating in the Neptune and Dolphin programs. We’re eager for our shipmates to meet each other and begin the experience of a lifetime!

Here is an introduction to the crew of Vie en Rose:

Jack- Skipper/Dive Instructor

Six years ago, a dream became a reality as Jack embarked on a solo mission to Mexico to become a professional dive instructor. Ever since he has been doing just that, living on islands such as Saba and Grand Cayman, and teaching hundreds of people how to dive. A love for adventure has led Jack to climb a 20,000ft mountain in Bolivia and to surf the waves of Costa Rica. Jack has previously worked for Seamester, and after captaining dive boats around the Caribbean, he is excited to return to the BVI to work for ActionQuest.

Nick- dive instructor/mate

Nick (Webby) comes from a small town in the North Island of New Zealand. When he’s not out diving, Nick works in hospitals as an Anaesthetic Technician. He has spent much of his life near the ocean and enjoys swimming at the beach, surfing, and going for a walk with family and friends. Nick is a PADI Scuba Instructor and is excited to be a part of the AQ team this summer.

Allie- mate

Allie joined AQ as a student in 2013 and 14. She returned to the AQ family in 2017 as a photographer for the media team. Allie is also a PADI Divemaster, with experience working in Thailand and the Bahamas. She is a student at the University of Richmond majoring in mathematics with minors in environmental studies and computer science.
