Divemaster

Anna is returning to AQ this summer after teaching the Dolphin program in 2021 and she is so excited to be back! She is originally from San Luis Obispo, California, and has worked as a marine naturalist, field researcher, and scientific illustrator around the world. She received her B.S from the University of California, Berkeley in Conservation and Resource Studies and while in school, she had the opportunity to spend a semester on S/Y Ocean Star. She quickly fell in love with diving and sailing, and went on to get her Divemaster in 2018 on Magnetic Island in Australia. Her work has taken her to places including French Polynesia, Hawaii, San Diego, and the Farallon Islands. Anna has a master’s certificate in Science Illustration from Cal State University, Monterey Bay, and she loves to use art as a way to communicate environmental biology. Some of her favorite things to paint are tropical fish and plants. She is excited to share her love of marine biology, sailing, and diving this summer!
