Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
The day started off with a lovely sail to Cooper Island. We reviewed sailing techniques and enjoyed the long sail. We then practiced mooring. Once we got to Cooper Island, we had lunch and then made our way over to Sandy Spit, where we practiced anchoring. After that, we had a hygiene and boat life talk, and shortly after made our way into the water and swam to the beach. We enjoyed being in the sun and playing in the water. Mac also taught Gene how to do a backflip on the beach. We spent the rest of our afternoon laying in the sun and ended our night with a raft of all three boats. We all had an excellent time socializing and hanging out with everyone.
