Day 19 on Side By Side was one for the books. We started our day with the latest wake-up we’ve had yet. We got to sleep until 8 AM! And thanks to our two chefs, Selah and Emerson, with a little help from Luke, we woke up to the smell of pancakes on the stove. Cate and I enjoyed our pancakes a little extra since we bribed Charlie for some of his Nutella. We then put on bathing suits to go on a little post-breakfast swim. We jumped off of the front of the boat and had fun swimming in between the two hulls of the boat. Gianna loved doing dives off of the bow. Next, we prepared to sail to the BVI capital, Road Town. Leuck was on the helm for most of the sail. When we arrived, we got some phone time as well as some shore time. Sean loved calling his girlfriend, and Talia loved talking to her best friend, Tannah. While most of us waited at the restaurant, Charlie went to a local supermarket and bought a stuffed monkey almost the size of him! He named the monkey Cip. On the way back, Hugh enjoyed hanging his feet off the side of the boat. When we got back, we took showers and got ready for our second to last night of the program. We played music and chatted in the salon while the chefs made dinner. Even though we are sad that our tip is coming to a close, the Side By Side crew is still making memories that will last a lifetime.
