Today we woke up bright and early at 6 am and left the anchorage to fill up our tanks from the night dive. We then attempted to nap as we moved to dive at the Coral Gardens, but it was a little bit noisy. The dive was part of our underwater naturalist certification, so we took slates and tried to identify symbiotic relationships. In this dive, we did not have a guide, so we all just dove with our buddy groups. Jayna waited at the mooring ball while we all went off, and we eventually came back to go up. Twas fun. We then filled up tanks again and went to our next dive site for an optional dive at the Chimneys. Today, Josh and I decided to be dive buddies; it was pleasant. Twas fun. Giggles occurred. Elle and Jayna lead the best dive ever. After lunch which was mac n cheese, our third dive instructor Sam arrived, and we had a naturalist lecture. Lots were learned. Knowledge was gained. We showered and then had a dinner of garden burgers which were pretty good. After, we had a quick talk about taxonomy. Taxonomy, contrary to popular belief, is not animals stuffed like build-a-bear; it’s the classification of fish. Anyways today was low-key fire, and I’m excited to see DJ-heavy beats tomorrow at the BBQ.
