Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
This morning we were awoken to the smell of scrambled eggs, and muffins cooked fresh by Jaden and Ozzie. We began our long voyage to our dive site of the day.
At Sandy Circles, we navigated in squares and used our expert navigational skills to dive a reciprocal heading. We did our navigation dive with no problems and no divers lost. As soon as we surfaced, we had fresh chicken salad and leftover pasta.
We then motored back to Savannah Bay, where we were staying for the night. We had a free swim, and Teddy and Jaden showed us their back-flipping skills. Russell and Scott spent their time trying to catch a seagull with a blanket and a can of Pringles. Mia was able to dive for the first time today. She and Ri went diving to catch her up to the rest of the boat.
After the Dive ended, Mia, Chloe, and KK rested on the roof for a while, watching Ozzie, Jaden, James, and Logan jump off the side of the boat. After we finished swimming, we had shower time. Dinner this evening was the best so far. We had Hornel’s Chili with instant rice, a light dusting of cheddar cheese, and red pepper flakes.
After dinner, I asked people what everyone’s favorite fast food place was. They all said the wrong answer but hearing their reasoning was interesting. We ended our squeeze singing the chorus of “I want it that way” by The Backstreet Boys. Right now, James is finishing cleaning the deck and is getting ready for a chill evening.
