Race Day!
Location: West End, Tortola
The crew woke up with mixed feelings for the day ahead. It was Race Day, which was a great thing, but it was also our last full day sailing the BVI. For breakfast, we got the eat anything that was left, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, etc. After eating breakfast, we got ready on the starting line for the race. It was an hour-long race to and around an island, where our final destination awaited the fleet. Although we didn’t come in first, everyone had a great time and was super happy with the results. We ate lunch, then packed up our bags and cleaned up the boat. For dinner, there was a beach party, and all the fleet got to eat and hang out together. Everyone had a great time getting their last real conversations with the other boats. Our adventure couldn’t have ended any better!
