Let's See How Far We've Come

Location: West End, Tortola

As we come to the conclusion of our time here at Action Quest, we reflect on all that has happened to us. The day went the way the program went: too quickly and filled with hard work. We look at how much we've changed and grown. We look at how relationships were forged and nourished. It's funny to think about how we may know these shipmates of three weeks better than we know our friends and classmates. There was a lot of laughing, some crying, and finally some resolution on the journey we embarked on three weeks earlier. We set sail and reached our destination, coming full circle. As I write this, I look around at the smiling faces of these 15 other shipmates and realize that I'm not the only one who has been changed by this program and has come far from who they were. We've all taken what we most needed from it. To be continued...
