The Presentation
Location: The Bight, Norman Island
I forgot what we woke up to, but we woke up to something. We were still mega rafted to 4 other boats. I waved hello to Atlas and Ruby on the other boats. Anyways, we went to land today and got our phones back. I called my brother, then my best friend this time. It was fun to talk to my brother again; we could say inside jokes that I missed. My best friend was hiking, and I got to brag about the cool creatures I’ve been seeing diving. Anyways, we were waddling all around town, and I ended up sitting with Emily and Maddie to get food. We were sailing again, and it was nice; I rested on the bow of the boat as the sails were hoisted. When we were anchored, we started dinner while the instructors were at a meeting on MikMike'sat. That was a fun experience. Anyways, it was time to present our research from the Dolphin program.
Matthew, Maddie, Emily, and I were mostly ready; we chose who would speak for each slide, and I spoke for results. Brendan and Kyler were both listening. In the end, it was 8 minutes and 3 seconds long, and after Kyler and Brendan asked a few questions, we were done. Then it was time for something called cards. The idea is to write 16 index cards of positive things to everyone on the boat, including ourselves, then one to ActionQuest. I ended up writing 18, one to Ruby and Atlas as well. I rested outside, set up my hammock, and got more of the best sleep ever.
