3 Days Left :(
Location: GHP - Peter Island
Hello! Guess who’s back?? Carolineeee. Can’t believe there are only 3 days left, like WHAT?? It has felt like such a long time, but so short at the same time. I am not ready to leave all the new friends I have made, but I do look forward to a nice, long shower. Anyways, today we woke up to the Lorax song AGAIN. It is definitely an interesting way to wake up, let’s just say that. After we got up, we had some oatmeal, and after cleaning up, sailed to Cooper Island. YAY!! Well, we got there in a few hours and dived Blue Chromis again, which is where we had dived the first day or so. It was a cool wreck dive, and everyone went, but Mar and I stayed behind to give our ears a rest and had fun swimming around until everyone else came back. We then had lunch, which the two chefs, Brolly and Braeden, prepared. It was romin (hopefully I spelled that right) and pasta for those not a fan. Around this time, Izzie spotted a hat flying into the ocean out of nowhere. She looked at me and was like, “Did something from our boat fall?” Well, indeed something did fall…
Philippe’s hat. But it’s okay because he dove in to get it after we ran to tell him. After that small disaster, the Neptunes had a fun dive. Brolly, Izzie, and I stayed back to work on our final project for the Dolphin class, but after working a bit, we jumped in the ocean and made a vlog on Mar’s camera, interviewing each other. Meanwhile, the Neptunes came back, and everyone, especially Braeden and Kiran, was very happy because they saw a big turtle and a stingray while diving. Sailing some more, we passed the time altogether by playing “pass the camera.” It was so funny. I got told I say “like” a lot and talk really slow. Like, I don’t know about that, but like okay. Anyways, the chefs got to work making some yummy dinner: tortellini, and I thought of my squeeze question “what is your biggest fear?” Louise said butter, which is funny because pretty much everything we have eaten so far has had butter or margarine in it… yikes… The Dolphins need to start locking in on our project, but things are starting to come together. In other words, we are making headway, slowly but surely. The Neptunes ended the dives today by completing all of their certifications. YAY!! Things have been going really well over the last few days, and it is going to be hard to say goodbye to the people. Thanks for reading the blog of the day! Hope it was fun to read and somewhat entertaining.
