Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Hey Blog!! Welcome back to our channel! This morning we woke up to the song “It’s Friday”, even though it’s Saturday. Then Redden and Roman cooked scrambled eggs and cinnamon muffins as we were underway to Sommers Bay. When we arrived, we set up our dive gear and had our dive brief. During the brief, we got assigned dive buddies through the Player’s random number generator (again). I got partnered up with Declan, and we were the first to go and navigate to all the slats underwater. Declan and I accidentally swam past the first slate, but then, when we turned around, we found it.
Evan and Redden, being the last group to descend, had the honor of bringing all the slates and weights to the surface. Then all the girls made their way to the hard top and used Lucy’s tanning oil to tan. Humphrey decided he wanted to be a “Brazilian baddie” and join us girls to work on his tan. He ended up spilling half the bottle on the hard top and the cushions. Thankfully, Humphrey and Dawson decided to take all the excess oil on the floor and lather themselves up so they could be extra bronzed. Then it was time for lunch, and our lovely chefs whipped up white bean soup. After lunch, we began our surface skills, where we learned how to bring conscious people to the boat and pull unconscious people onto the boat. Lucy pulled me right into the transom, causing a lot of pain. Don’t worry, she eventually got me up. After we all brought people onto the boat, we had to BA (boat appreciation). Ruby, Rachel, and Declan deckied (scrubbed the outside of the boat) for over an hour. Then, after we completed the BA and got everything approved by our staff, Evan, Redden, Rachel, Humphrey, and Dawson went water skiing. In the end, only Redden was actually able to go skiing because they ran out of time. Then we all got ready for the 2nd barbecue. We had to prepare ourselves for a wet entrance because it was on the beach. When we got to the beac,h we went straight to the food line. Evan made sure he got the pasta. Then our whole boat ate burgers and hot dogs on the rocks. After we ate, the boys played beach football while all the girls went to talk to our friends on the other boats. As the barbecue went on, Matthew’s cousin, Raiden from Glad 2 B Here, decided to tackle Matthew into the ocean. This led to a chain reaction of everyone being thrown in the water. Scarlett and Bea got bodied into the water, and then got princess carried into the water by Declan. Lucy also got thrown into the water by her French friend from Nacho Dingy, Alex. Right before we went back to the boat, we saw Dolphins swimming with a pretty sunset, it felt like we were in a movie. Now, after the barbecue, we are back on our raft with Oryx and a special guest, Bea. Overall, another solid day in the BVI’s.
