Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today was an eventful day for the people of the pirate song boat, as profusely mentioned in our past blogs, a rotation day is a common occurrence throughout the week. This morning we ate cereal at 7:30 AM. After cleaning up the messy breakfast, we started to get ready for Zesting. Zesting is an activity where 1-2 people sail a tiny boat. On the boat, I (Liam) and Austin paired up together. We had a slow start, but started to get the hang of it when I let Austin do all the work. Once Austin took over, we started a game called pirating, where we invaded other boats to flip them, along with throwing seaweed, as Marg supervised our adventure. Next was snorkeling, and Austin, Henry, Levi, Brooks, and I set out on a five-minute ride to a cove on the island, where we promptly got off and started searching for different forms of wildlife, including pufferfish, jellyfish, and anCharlie’s new seashell collection. Next was the ride to lunch with three boats’ worth of people on ours, and Aden spilled half the mac and cheese. Followed by a short Uno game and a Nononap, then we started the dreaded RDP with Luke (which we love), he started talking about math, so I fell asleep and woke up to a quiz where Austin and I used the power of teamwork to ace both while slowly making Luke madder and madder. Then Levi sold and broke the Mat that goes over the stairs, followed by a brief nap, some more rage baiting to Luke, then off to water ski at 3 (we waited) at 3:15 nothing 3:30 finally we see our lord and savior Luke coming out of the smoky water like a god. Then he picks up a small group of girls and speeds off at 3:45 Mickena pick up the first group off boys in was left on the boat again so i started making friendship bracelets with Tegain, Henry, jack, and Levi. And some gusts the bees that started storming us after Austin killed one at 4 I crashed out and my friendship bracelet landed in the ocean then Tegian said she would make me one at 4:15 Luke was still missing so I made the tragic decision to join Mickena on the boat and finally landed a 360 wich was fun little later i rejoined the group on the boat to discover that Tegain brook my second bracelet. After that I decided to take a shower and start to clean my room 5 minutes later I started to hunt bees which have dwindled in population. Then the staff went for a swim, which led to the smoke alarm blaring. It wouldn’t go off till we smashed it with a water bottle. It didn’t work, so like a god, Luke returns to turn it off, then that led to some plant burgers giving us a tomorrow’s cookout
