Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
How’s it going? It’s Griffin. Today was dope started out the day very early at 6:30 for some who slept outside and needed to put PFDs on as we went underway. Others, later at eight, woke up and munched some oatmeal and agua. We then arrived at the beautiful baths and were reminded of Beyoncé’s baby shower photoshoot location. Blast from the past. We did some flips and took a very long and unexpected hike around the baths. After the baths, we took a pit stop at Spanish Town and avoided being overcharged and swindled by the locals; they were actually very courteous and nice. The food was Gasssssssssss(Very good). After, we were only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the mooring spot for the night. We familiarized ourselves with the dive location with a quick snorkel. There was a large influx of jellyfish in comparison to the other mooring/ anchor locations. We also saw a shoal of squids.
After we prepped all our dive gear for the night dive later tonight, then, as dinner was being cooked up, we jammed to some fire Tunes queued by the boat. We then enjoyed some stroganoff. While the sun set, we briefed for the night dive. After din din, we all locked in for the night dive and nailed our reciprocal heading skill. Then we showered and ate crepes with Nutella for dessert.
