Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Today we woke up at 7 am to the song Pursuit of Happiness and surrounded by the green mountains, cliffs, and blue water at Muskellonger. We had a quick breakfast and got straight to work for rotation day. Dive masters (Aria, Ally, Parker, Liam, Nathan, and Alicia) got to dive with open water divers all morning and jump off the bow of the boat. Peyton, Anne-faye, Jack, Tati, and I got to go on a hike. We had to walk up a steep hill and see a beautiful view from the top. For our second rotation, we got to go Zesting, which are small sailboats you sail on in pairs. Tati and I went together, but didn’t get much time because the boom of our sail fell off and we had to get it fixed. Peyton and her brother Dylan went together and did great. For the third rotation, we got to go water skiing. Peyton and Tati did knee board, and Anne-Faye and I went skiing. After that, it was finally time for lunch and a break for all of us.
After lunch, all of us got to dive the sand channel at Musk Melon. It was the first deep dive for the advanced divers. We went down like 70 feet and saw a beautiful, healthy reef. Then we went to Sommers Beach for the barbecue. The beach was really pretty, and we got to see the sunset and rain. Parker was able to eat nine burgers, nine cookies, and drink nine glasses of lemonade. We were all really proud of him. When we were back at the boat, we got to take fresh water showers with Hibiclens. Now we are all exhausted and getting ready to go to sleep. It was a really great day!
