Location: Marina Cay

We all woke up to the sound of music playing through the speakers of the boat, and I knew our day was going to be a good one. We began our day with some cereal and bagels, with which I snuck some Nutella on. After the cleanup, we got ready to depart Mountain Point, where we had been for two nights already, so we were all happy to get out on the ocean. With the help of Ada and Ani, we began sweating the halyard in order to bring the main sail down. Amelia then brought the jib out, and we were off. Everybody was content as the wind hit our sails because we finally had some time to sit back and relax after multiple days of consecutive dives and activities. After Adrien ate all the saltines, we stopped and Ada and Fin cheffed up some delicious mac and cheese, which we took down in a heartbeat. The area where we stopped was surrounded by tiny islands consisting of rocky jagged cliffs, and we also got to see a large cruise ship, which River pointed out, that steamed fairly closely by us. When our bellies were full, we set out for sail again and did a series of man overboard drills for the advanced sailors on board. River, Amelia, Skye, Ani, and Ada all practiced what to do at the helm if someone went overboard while sailing, while I fished the fenders that we threw out of the boat in place of a person out of the water. After some more sailing, we headed towards the place where we and many other AQ boats would be staying for the night. We gulped down some tortellini and danced until we couldn’t anymore.
