Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Hi guys! We started our day off with some yummy French toast for breakfast. Then we sailed to Savanna Bay for a couple of hours. We successfully gybed (multiple times)! Then we ate sandwiches for lunch. After lunch, we got hyped up for the boat Olympics and did sunscreen face paint. The first game we played was tug of war, in which we came in 3rd place. Next, Bode and Fin participated in the slippery dinghy relay race and came in 1st. Then we did the water filling Pringle can relay, where we used sun shirts and mouths to collect ocean water to put into our Pringle can, and came in 2nd place. Lastly, Amelia represented us in the fender balancing competition. We made our way back to the boat and began traveling to Mountain Point.
River spent time swatting flies in the salon. Bode and Mackenzie cooked Chicken Caesar Salad with Risotto for dinner, which we ate early in order to prep for our night dive. After the cleanup, we headed over to Nacho Dinghy to get all of our dive gear together and head off to the dive site. We descended with our flashlights and dove around a shipwreck. We saw two stingrays and a pufferfish! Although it was a little scary to dive at night, everyone had fun in the end. We then came home and took ocean showers while eating brownies that Zoe baked for us. Now that we are all clean, we are off to bed. Goodnight!!
