Howdy, y’all! It’s Alivia here to tell you all about our very eventful day here on PJ3. First, we all woke up from outrunning incredibly annoying internal 7 am alarm clocks. Most of us had slept well in the villa because of the AC and actual living amenities. It rained a lot, and it was very windy, but nobody got blown away in the middle of the night. For breakfast, all of us Pure Joy shippies went to the kitchen for food, and thankfully, the thoughtful kids of Good Times were making breakfast (they only intended to make breakfast for themselves, but they found that the kitchen and living room were slowly filling with hangry kids). Gabriel really enjoyed the pancakes since he recalls eating at least 4. After our meal of box mix pancakes, we all hung out with our friends in various areas of the massive villa. While I was hanging out with the wonderful shippies of Beso Del Viento, Kiran and Ruby decided to take a morning dip in the infinity pool (it was filled with leaves from the storm and quite cold, therefore I did not join them). Finally, Emma Y and Maddie arose from their slumber in the eerie, dark generator room. They thought it was 9 pm and not 9 am, thanks to the incredibly dark room they decided to sleep in. At around noon, a staff member from Good Times alerted us to the situation: We were to be ready to leave by 2 pm, meaning the whole villa had to be clean, and we all had to be packed.
Packing took about 30 minutes since we all packed one pair of clothes, and cleaning took around an hour. During cleanup, Emma L, Lauren, and Calvin were put into a taxi and shipped off to the airport where they hoped to leave and get back to their families. We then played hide and seek in the villa (I lost because my friends and I were talking and giggling too loud). During hide and seek, the Dolphins were presenting the presentation that they had prepared for the past week. All the Dolphins (Emma Y, Teddy, and Kiran) didn’t think it would go too well, but they think they passed! Then, we waited for several more hours for the taxi to finally arrive. The taxi took us from West End back to Road Harbour, where our boats were docked. To our surprise, when we arrived, Lauren, Emma L, and Calvin were back at the boat! Their flights were canceled again, so they weren’t super happy, but at this point, they’ve just accepted that the storm is messing with their arrival time home. We thankfully got shore time and our phones before dinner. Jules and Lauren made hot dogs and beans and rice for dinner while we all hung out around the boat. (it was very delicious). There are only one and a half days until we see y’all again, and we are all ready to go home. This has been an amazing experience, but we all want to go home to warm showers, nice beds, and our families.
