Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hey, what’s a good squad? Today, we endured a wonderful wake-up call at 2 am concerning the rainstorm. After we fell back asleep and woke up at the regular hour, George and Olivia made us a skibbidi breakfast. We feasted on cereal and cantaloupe, then quickly lathered in sunscreen, making our way to Avizia to zest. Jace and Yo-yo paired up and were clearly the best of the zesters, capsizing over 15 times. Chloe, Marinne, Maddie, and Mimi were the only ones who didn’t inhale 2 pounds of salt water. Once the hour hit 10, we headed to Odyssey to do water sports. Chloe and Drew were finally able to get up on the wakeboard while Jace, on the other hand, preceded to wipe out on the kneeboard.
We ended water sports in a quick round of the zoomies and came back to the monohull for a quick lunch break. Post lunch, we headed to the dive boat for our second dive of the trip! I was paired with George and Olivia, my favorite chefs, and saw some awesome fish, along with a few underwater George flips. Sadly, Mimi was unable to equalize and couldn’t join us on our dive. After, we were stranded on the dive boat leading to lots of bracelet making and a quick dance battle between Hannah and I. We returned to our boat, taking a quick ocean shower, where George and Chloe showed off their backflips. Then we raised the main sail, which was kindly done by Jace, George, and Drew. After about an hour of sailing and a few naps, we made it to our current location. While dinner was being cooked, we played a quick game of wavelengths and, to our surprise, saw a flying flamingo…which we all thought was very humorous. Dinner was delicious, and we ended our squeeze with a game of hide and seek. Drew was last to be found, which was quite surprising, considering the fact she was next to Marianne, who was found 3rd. While we did the dishes, Aidan played some tunes, which led to an epic dance party. We all ended our day with a tasty cake by Maddie and Hannah while we snuggled and watched the remaining half of Mama Mia.
