Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

We started off the day bright and early to Canadian Chloe and Floridian Chloe waking us all up at 6 AM. After our hour-long morning briefing, we were finally able to set sail and enjoy motoring around the islands until we settled at White Bay, Guana Island. In the beautiful clear water, we all successfully completed our swim test, which consisted of swimming four laps around the boat and treading water for one All to Well (10-minute version) by Taylor Swift, which Jasmine greatly appreciated. For lunch, we ate delicious sandwiches before heading off to our final destination for the night. On our way there, we had our first no-motor sailing trip of the session! Henry has some extreme skills at trimming the jib while giving us “winch handle ASMR,” and Blake, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Cammie steered us smoothly to our final destination of the night, Mountain Point. Once we were anchored, everyone was eager to get in the water, especially redden, and we snorkeled for a good bit, even seeing a stingray, before taking our first ocean shower of the trip. For dinner, we ate Riley’s gourmet sloppy joes. As our after-dinner activity, we decided to play an extreme game of hide and seek in Brooklyn; Henry and Rachel had a three-way tie because Cammie did not have good seeking skills. We have to give an honorable mention to Redden, the Chloe’s, and Jasmine for creatively finding a hiding spot underneath the front trampoline. To end the night, we had a pre-dive chat for tomorrow’s rotation day and hung out till it was time for lights out.
