Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

This morning, we woke up on the boat at Sydney’s and ate French toast. Gap Year was one of the first boats to leave from where we were rafted and we started off the day with a practical sailing exam, the first group to man the boat was Andrew B, Caroline, Sophia, and LJ. LJ was on the helm while Thea spotted to see if the sail was in the wind. After the rest of the groups went, we ate chicken salad wraps. After lunch we headed to a beach near sandy spit, Chase went on a dive looking for debris, while the rest of the group left for a day at the beach. At the beach, Lyla, Steve Drain, Corn, and Emilia tanned in the dinghy while Greyson and I buried a small child after we were given consent. After a couple of hours at the beach, we came back to the boat. We had our showers, and Sophia and Sloane made franks and beans for dinner. Overall, we all had a pretty solid day and will soon have a sailing chat.
