Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Today, the 20th of July, was an amazing day. First of all, everyone woke up at Marina Cay, and the chefs, Grace and Lucy, made us some tasty pancakes while the staff were having a meeting. I made them and I try some French baguette and duck “terrine” that we bought yesterday at the French market, and surprisingly, they loved it. After breakfast, Alex and Liam had a little game in which Liam had to chase Alex around the boat. Unfortunately for Liam, while trying to catch Alex, he slipped and hit his head, which made everyone die of laughter, but don’t worry, Liam’s parents didn’t hurt himself. We then left Marina Cay and sailed for two hours to Virgin Gorda. While our favorite skipper Will was sailing, we were all having a nap and a sun bathing on the roof after the exhausting day we had yesterday.

Moreover, we arrived at our location and had ramen noodles made by our chefs. We then had a fun wreck dive, which was our third wreck dive. The wreck is called the Kodiak Queen, a historical World War II ship converted to an artificial reef and art canvas by an organization called Beyond the Reef. Unfortunately the wreck, was damaged by the hurricane Irma. If you want to learn more about the wreck, you can check Beyond’s Reef website. While my buddy Liam and I were diving, we saw two sting rays, and we were the only ones who saw them. After the dive, we sailed to a place called Sand Highway.

While sailing, Elise wanted to know. How the boat worked and asked Will a lot of sailing questions. When we arrived at Sand Highway, all of us went snorkeling. Marin, Gabriella, and Maddi practiced their free diving skills, which were impressive. We then had a chilly and rice dinner. Like we always do, after dinner, we had our squeeze and played a hide-and-seek game. Robie, Liam, and I had a good spot which was under our bed, and we ended up winning. After the game, we went for the second dive of the day, which was a night dive. During the dive, we saw an octopus and played with the bioluminescence, which was breathtaking. Right now, we’re back at the boat, and Kaleigh welcomed us back with some freshly baked brookies. Today was a great day, good night parents.
