Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Hey families!

Last night, after a fun night at Sydney’s Love and Peace for a barbecue, eight of us (Macie, Ariana, Mia, Ruby, and Anna on the benches that convert into a bed, and Harrison, Leo, and Axel on the floor) all fell asleep by accident still in our clothes from that night. Macie and Ruby woke up at 4 am, ate apples, and went back to sleep outside. Ariana joined us around 30 minutes later. We woke up bright and early at 7 am for a breakfast of French toast made by Ariana and Harrison before we sailed to Sandy Spit. There, we did a project dive in which one group studying Parrot Fish (Louis, Mia, Anna, Ruby, and Axel) gathered a ton of interesting information for their project, and the group researching coral (Dani, Ariana, Ari, Macie, Arya) ran successful salinity, carbon dioxide, and acidity tests. We then had chicken wraps for lunch before heading out for our second project dive to collect more information. Throughout the day, we all studied hard for our marine biology exams due by the end of the day and finished our day off with a dinner of beans, hot dogs, cornbread, and salad. That’s all for now!

Still having a good time on good times!
