Location: White Bay, Peter Island
Hey, it’s Sienna! Today was our first full day, starting with an early wake-up around 6:30 AM! For breakfast, we had cereal and headed out for our morning meeting with Mike. He talked for about two hours about the camp and expectations. After the meeting, we headed back to the boat and prepared to leave. After waiting for all of the other boats to leave, we left. It was raining for about 16 minutes right as we left the marina. We raised sail, and Mathew was at the helm. Samantha, Scottie, Evan, Reese, Lyla, Kate, Megan, and I all tanned on the trampoline in the front of the boat. Ari, Hayes, and Jackson all helped raise the sail. It took about 2 hours to get to tonight’s spot.
As soon as we got here, we had sandwiches prepared by the chefs Scottie and Hays. Soon after we had our swim test, we got ready for our first dive. We went down about 30ft and went over basic skills. We showered after the prepared dinner. The chefs prepared sloppy joes and mashed potatoes. After dinner, we did squeeze, and the question I chose was, “If you could have one meal for the rest of your life, what would you choose?” After, we did a dishy pit and watched the sunset. Now, we are waiting for three other boats to come over to take a test! Today was a great day – Sienna Sorrells
