Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Today started with a surprise as we weren’t woken up by turning my swag on but a rave provided by the boys, which some enjoyed and others not as much. It was already so beautiful post breakfast that Katie, Ry, and I decided to go for a swim while Lucy and Anne-Faye were slaving away in the dishy pit. Since it was a chaotic rotation day, we rafted up with Friendship, continued to swim, and layout on paddle boards. At 10, we went over to Nomada to do our certification dive, but unfortunately for Bianca, Kel, and I, our instructor Tony wasn’t able to dive with us. We all had a great dive nevertheless in other groups, and I was super happy to be with Emma and Claire, looking at all the fish and taking our fins off to bounce on the bottom like it was zero gravity. After, we all got in the dinghy to go back to Beso, but as we were getting in, I told Tony I thought I was gonna fall, and I did, in fact, eat it in front of everyone, which was humbling. We ate lunch and continued to spend the rest of the afternoon soaking in the sun while the boys controlled the aux in the power tower. It was fun to be connected to Friendship because we intermixed and made new friends. Then we sailed over to Sandy Spit which built up the anticipation for the BBQ since everyone was excited to see people, specifically Charley and Katie. We had a wet entry, so some of us had wet shorts during the beach party. We ate some food and talked to friends while the sun set over the BVI. Bianca was also pleasantly surprised that Tony wore her glasses to the party. We went back to home base, did a quick change, then went over to have a movie night watching Surfs Up with Friendship. Overall we had a lovely chaotic day.
Goodnight,
Grace
