Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

This morning started a little earlier than usual as a rain storm interrupted some of the outside sleepers, and they had to escape to the inside. Lilli and I were enjoying a peaceful sleep on the blue lagoon when Emily, Haydn, and Madison sprinted inside. After that moment, we woke up at 7 am to our facilitators (Emma, Ian, and Anthony) having to run to a meeting. Haydn and Emily were the chefs of the day, so we all needed to make sure we cleaned up all our sleeping stuff so we could get our morning started without the facilitators there. For some reason, the music wasn’t working from the Bluetooth on their phones, so I decided that the radio wouldn’t be that bad… we soon found out the only signals we received were channels singing different languages and like rock, punk Christian music. So we enjoyed some Christian music while we ate the cinnamon pancakes, which were really good. Once all the food was eaten, cleaned, and the facilitators came back, we were ready for our sail over to the next location where we would have our land day.

Ben, Sophie, Joey, Lily, and I enjoyed playing exploding kittens and the card game BS on the way over. The others decided that nap time would be the best way to enjoy the majority of the ride, but we were all awake to see some of the beautiful views. When we finally arrived on land, we all raced onto the super dinghy, excited to check out the stores, buy some snacks, and, most importantly, get cold water. We first headed to Aragorn’s store, which was closed, so we decided that we would scope out the area. Madison asked Ian where the best place to eat would be, and we walked over to check it out. We learned that there was a little cafe inside the restaurant and a small clothing store. I found the cutest hat there, so I purchased it with some of the money that we brought for spending. After, the whole group rushed over to the convenience store, where we all bought the highly coveted cold waters. Joey somehow lost the chocolate bar that he wanted to buy in the store. After that, we all went to eat lunch, but Hayden and Emily stopped to play for a little bit in the water. It looked like a lot of fun. The majority of the group ate pizza for lunch, which was on the list of foods that we all missed from land. We all told funny stories and learned more about each other at lunch. We even got to hear Will’s iconic goat noise. After lunch, half the group went to the cafe to buy some more food but Sophie, Ben, Lily, Madison, and I headed back over to the convenience store, where Sophie found the deck of cards we were looking for so we could play more games on the boat at night. After that, I spotted a cat with green eyes outside, and we all petted it, which was absolutely adorable. We were all ready to leave, but we had to wait for our laundry to be loaded up into the dinghies before leaving. Chloe took a bunch of really cute photos while we sat and waited to be taken back to our home (Beso del Viento). We also talked about college and what we all wanted to major in, which was super fun because some of us wanted to go to the same colleges. When we got back to the boat and started sailing, Will felt a little dehydrated from the coffee and coke that he drank, and Liam took an extreme Power Nap on the couch, where he stated
“Hey!” When he realized that we all had moved inside to play cards. The scenery was beautiful on the ride back to the final docking site for the night. We got back pretty late, so even though we planned to hang out with Mango Tango, that was put on pause. We all showered where we were a bit scared of getting stung by jellyfish. After the chefs, Hadyn and Emily, began cooking the chili, we decided to put that on pause so we could do zoomies and then do the squeeze circle that we forgot to do the other day. After that, we had a quick dance battle against mango tango doing wobble, the YMCA, and Gangum style before eating dinner. There Joey pulled out hot sauce where. Will, Ben, Joey, Chloe, Sophie, and I all tried it, and honestly, it wasn’t that bad. Now closing the night were all cleaning up and getting ready to have a play date with mango tango, which we were all really excited for. Today was a really fun day overall.
