Today we had a later wake-up than usual which we were all very thankful for. The first thing we woke up was the drop off of our laundry, which we were also very thankful for. We were very thankful for Josh and Anzie because they were today’s chefs. They made great breakfast burritos; however, Sally and Ozzie were not very thankful for them because they had to clean the giant scrambled egg pot.

We got started with rescue dive skill 7, which is towing a nonbreathing unresponsive diver. We were not very thankful for this skill because we were doing it from breakfast until lunch, then we got back in after for even more practice (4-5 hours). Chloe, Sally, and I were very not thankful for this because our masks all fell to the bottom, but we are very thankful for Griffin using his search and recovery skills to find them. We practiced our in-water rescue breaths while towing and taking off the victim’s kit at the same time. Lainey saw a tarpon and a stingray swimming together during practice. Once we finally finished the first part, we ate grilled cheese and hopped back in the water.

After everyone had finally finished the practice, we were very thankful to be able to shower. James and I were finally able to take down Teddy in a game of chess. Jaiden, KK, James, Chloe, Lainey, Sally, and Daisy were able to go wakeboarding which they were all very thankful for (only James and Jaiden actually wakeboarded). When they came back, the chefs made us a summertime Thanksgiving feast (we were very thankful for it). Sadly, we had to wait to eat for Jake Steward to make a guest appearance for dinner. We were very hungry, so we were not thankful for the wait. Right now, as I am writing this, the dishes are being finished up, and Josh and Jaden are hoping for a safe night snorkel. There were many things to be thankful for today, so overall, it has been a very successful day.
