Location: Marina Cay
Day 11 started with a dose of Jake’s powerful music. For breakfast, our chefs got really inspired while preparing some cereal with milk. We started sailing toward our next diving spot. Halfway through the sail, we got notified that our mooring ball was stolen by “Soul Rebel”. We immediately turned 180 degrees and made our way back to where we woke up. We anchored on top of yesterday’s wreck, “The Fearless”. After the first group descended, Jake announced that his skills as a skipper were off since he got confused with the mooring balls, and we were not where we were supposed to be. Regardless, we continued with our dive. In the end, it was a happy mistake because the other mooring ball broke when another dive boat tried to tie up to it. It turned out to be a great dive where everybody had a great time. After we surfaced, we sailed to Tortola and docked at Road Town, where we had an amazing lunch with the rest of the Dive Side boats. After that, we departed to our next dive spot. We sailed through some rough weather in order to get there. The dive spot wasn’t any calmer either, but once we descended, it was very peaceful. The difference between the two dive groups was staggering since one group saw a lobster and a shark, and the other saw seven sharks. After the dive, we raced to Aloha to our sleeping spot. We arrived and were greeted by some dolphins and the rest of the Action Quest fleet. We later had some dinner and ended the day with a lifeworks session.
