Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was an eventful and very tiring day. We started the day with zesting and paddle boarding, but the wind made it difficult for everyone to zest. William, Georgina, and I all went zesting and flipped over and had to get help for some random staff member to re-attach the boom to our boat. We then went to water sports, everyone did so well, and Lulu got up on the wakeboard for the first time, and it was amazing! We then had THE BEST grilled cheeses for lunch made by Lulu, Finn, Teddy, and Ellery. Then we went on our fish ID dive. It was a lot of fun, and we all saw a spotted eagle ray and so many cool fish. Tatum, Oscar, Zander, and I were all in a dive group and buddy pairs today. After coming home to the boat, we had a ship talk where we learned about the engines and all the cool things about the boat. We then got the news that we would have to go on a hike. Nobody was excited about this hike. It was hot, and we were all tired, but we went and ended up having so much fun even when Payton stubbed his toe, and it started bleeding (very gross), and mama Shosho had us do an activity where we found things that represent us now, and how we want to be in the future. After our exciting and exhausting hike, we came home to a prank. Someone throughout the day had taken ALL our shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, AND put duck tape that said “less.”
Right behind where it says hope on our boat, so we were the “hopeless” boat. After this tragedy, we have all come to the conclusion that this has officially started a prank war. We then ended the night by singing Mama Shosho a happy birthday and making brownies for her.
