Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Aloha, parents. This Jaden is writing to you today. Today was a calm and relaxing day, for the most part. We started off the morning with the instructors headed to a staff meeting, so we had to prepare breakfast by ourselves. The iconic duo of the boat, George and Francisco, whipped up some delicious French toast that we all loved. When we were finished, we all had to chug a little bit of the leftover raw egg batter Madora and Hayley were the first to step up to the plate, and Francisco finished it off. After breakfast Mateo and I made sure the saloon was in tip-top shape before the instructors came back while the girls spelled out the instructors’ names in syrup on they’re plates to give them a good little laugh when they went to get their food. After that, we sailed over to The Playgrounds for a dive in what seemed like forever since we missed our daily dive yesterday due to the hike. Me, Mateo, Eve, Sean, Elizabeth, and Ella hopped in the first dinghy, headed to the dive spot, and rolled off the sides of the dinghy, splashing down into the depths of the water. The dive was very chill and laid back, and we saw tons of marine life. After the dive, we had Mac and cheese for lunch and jammed out to some tunes on the boat. Sophie and Maddie had lots of fun jamming out to some of their favorite songs they haven’t heard in a while, and lots of us heard some songs that we requested the instructors to play. When that was all said and done, we headed for the beach with lacrosse sticks and a volleyball. We saw lots of people we knew because, basically, the whole AQ fleet was there, and it felt like a party. We stayed for a few hours, and everyone had a great time. Once we got back, we had some frank and beans for dinner and invited Tyler from the tank pumping boat called “Under Pressure” over for dinner. Now we are about to go watch a movie, probably shark tales or something interesting can’t wait to find out. Aloha from Aloha!
