Location: South Bay, Peter Island
Today was day two! The rain woke most of us bright and early, and we enjoyed a breakfast of cereal and milk. After breakfast, the salt water washers, Eve and Hayley, and the freshwater washer, Jaden, cleaned all the dishes, and Ella and Madora dried everything.
Shortly after our cleaning was done, we headed off to see Mike as he introduced us to AQ. It took a long time, but we eventually set sail from Tortola and headed to South Bay. On the way, all of us lay on the trampoline and got sprayed with water! It was so much fun! After our arrival, the gopher, Sean, helped bring out the ingredients to make sandwiches. The real fun began after lunch! We did our swim test, which was seven laps around the boat and treading water for ten minutes. We then got a refresher on scuba diving and conducted our first dive of the session! After our dive and saltwater showers, we found our boat had become very dirty. The saloon keeper, Francisco, cleaned the entire saloon, and the deckies, Maddie and Sophie, cleaned off our table. Mateo and Elizabeth prepared us a delightful meal of sloppy joes and mashed potatoes for dinner. We ended our night by joining the rest of the dive side boats for a quiz. It was relatively easy, and we all felt confident about our diving knowledge!
