Location: West End, Tortola

Today we woke up at 6 am and started cleaning and packing for our soon to come departure. It was fun though because we played music and sang to it while we cleaned. Then at 8:30 we went to Pelican Island where the starting line for the race was. This wasn’t any old race though. This was the Pringles Cup! It was the final and most important race of the whole session. We won the last race, so Tanis Marie had a reputation to look up to. When the race started, we were in the unfavorable position, being leeward from everyone else. Our race was pretty simple though. We had to go from Pelican Island to Road Town, tack around a buoy, and go to Great Harbor. It was a very fun race. We were in the middle at the beginning but we then began to pull away (because we’re awesome), and after a fantastic tack we were in the lead. By the end of the race, we were ahead by at least ten boat lengths. It was awesome! Then we returned to the place we started, West End. There we cleaned a little bit more, passed inspection, then we got to have fun in West End where we will go for the final BBQ. Today was the best way possible to close an awesome session at ActionQuest.
