Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Today was a rainy day but didn’t prevent us from having a lot of fun. After breakfast, we set sail for the Pinnacles. However, on the voyage, there was a squall that appeared. When we finally reached the Pinnacles, there was a lot of swells, but once we were in the water, everything was great. Instructor Ben showed us what current diving was like. We swam up current for a while and then stayed buoyant with no movement as the entire group was hovering over the bottom while moving with the current. Later in the day, we relocated to Shark Point and proceeded to do our second dive. This was fun because the area had a massive amount of swim-throughs and we saw a sea turtle, tarpon, a lobster, and a lot of flounder. This was my favorite dive so far on our trip. We had a great day.

I’m looking forward to the hike tomorrow and our future voyages!
