Today was a very busy day for Caribbean Soul. We woke up at 5:30 and prepared to hike to the peak of Tortola. It was a hike of four miles up and four back. The majority of the hike was very steep, leaving us all a nice challenge. After stopping for water and enjoying the view, we all realized going down a steep hill is not as easy as it sounds! After this, and lunch in port, we sailed to a small island and had a sand castle building competition. Caribbean Soul tied for first place, with a scuba diver giving an “ok.” We again set sail to Sydney’s Peace and Love, where we ate dinner. We got to experience some advanced sailing when anchored stern to a dock. We had a dinner fit for champions and then shopped in the t-shirt stores. Our very early day ended when we began to get ready for bed at 10:30.
