Location: Sidney's, Jost van Dyke

Today we woke up close to 6, shoved a bowl of cereal in our mouths, and set out on one of the most challenging days yet. On the island of Tortola, at 7, we started hiking Mt. Sage. The most difficult part was the beginning. A steep climb awaited us for the first quarter of our seven-mile hike. It soon became worth it as beautiful scenes greeted us, the higher we trekked. At the peak, we wrote our names in a book which kept track of who arrived and when. A downhill stroll with snacks and drinks from the hilltop was more than welcomed. We then sailed to Sandy Cay, where we had a sandcastle building contest, with very few actual castles. Sharks, mermaids, pyramids, and more were sculpted. Blue waters, white sands, black rocks, and green palm trees were the backdrop of our enjoyment. We then sailed to a restaurant named Sidney’s, where we had our third BBQ and called it a night.
