Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
This morning we awoke to our staff leaving us to go to a meeting. Which meant we had the boat to ourselves! With no staff, Allissa made everyone some more delicious pancakes. However, instead of misbehaving while the staff were gone we had to prepare Saleya for all of the younger divers coming on board later. When the staff returned we headed over to a dive site called ‘The Dogs’ which doesn’t actually have any dogs but has a really cool stingray that visited us while we were practicing some scuba skills. The younger kids also joined our boat at ‘The Dogs’ where some of them completed their first open water dive! For lunch, Claire made us some amazing mac and cheese. Afterwards, the whole boat hopped back in the water to finish off a few more skills. Now we are motoring to Muskmelon Bay where a couple of us will go on a fun night dive. We are also going to tackle the final chapter of our divemaster manual – Chapter 9!!! But it won’t be too bad because we’ll be chowing down on some great chili made by Allissa and Oliver.
