Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
On day six, we had our first activity rotation day. The day began at 7:00 with a quick breakfast of oatmeal, and soon after, the activities began. We were all split up into groups and had an opportunity to try wakeboarding, kneeboarding, or waterskiing. The standouts in this activity were Milla, Vale, Tristan, and Griffin. I was in a group with Miranda and Bailey, and we all decided to wakeboard. The next activity was windsurfing, and although it was difficult to stand up at first, as I got the hang of it, I had a lot of fun. I noticed that the top windsurfers were definitely Johnathan and Miranda. After this activity was the moment we had all been waiting for, scuba diving. We were split up into groups of three or four, and I was with James and Miranda. Scuba Diving for the first time was a whole new world, and I saw so many wonderful things. After our third rotation, everyone was tired and sunburned, so we lathered up and hydrated in preparation for our fourth and final activity. This final rotation was learning how to drive the dingy. Everyone split up again, and I was in a group with Bailey, Chili, Jack, Miranda, and James. It was so much fun to learn how to drive the dingy and learn how to retrieve a man overboard. Jack was very helpful in this process and kindly fell from the stationary boat and into the waveless water. After finishing our activities, the process of showering and preparing for dinner began. Jack and Tristan prepared a Summertime Thanksgiving dinner for the summer solstice. It was a delicious dinner and a great way to end the day and celebrate Father’s day. On that note, here are some messages from us to you.

Hi dad! It feels so long since I talked to you, even though it’s only been a few days. I miss you dearly, but then again… I kind of don’t want to come home just yet. Haha! I hope you and mom are doing well in your little mansion over there! Anyway, I have met so many cool people on this little crammed board of mine… many of them I met beforehand! Also, I must say.. There is quite the amount of artists on this boat! And I am learning a lot! Alright, I’m done rambling. See you soon! Maybe…
Hi Daddy, Mason, Andy, I miss you guys so much it’s not even funny. I’ve been talking about you guys all the time, and they really like the jem frog I have. And just so you know, I’ve been taking it everywhere with me.
I’ve been listening to the same playlist for a couple of days straight, and I’m going CRAZY…… but in a good way. I’ve gone snorkeling today, and it’s SO COOL. I SAW SO MANY FISH!!!
I hope you are ready to see a new Ava soon because I am so excited to show you all I’ve learned AND how different I look.
Love you guys, and I’m so happy I’m here.
