It’s hard to believe that the summer is already over. It’s been an incredible two and a half weeks with the crew of second wind. We’ve made so many memories that will last a lifetime. You get to know people pretty well when you sail over 300 nautical miles with them. It’s been a pleasure watching our shipmates progress at both sailing and diving, while developing new skills and certifications such as Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Boat Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water for our Neptune’s. Meanwhile, the Dolphin’s have learned about Digital Underwater Photography, Night Diving and even completed a series of research dives and have conducted their own research projects. They have also been turtle tagging and conducted a series of marine dissections. However; most importantly, while all these awesome activities were going on, the crew of Second Wind have joined together as a team and a family. From card games to Pterodactyl noises and quoting TV shows and laughing almost the entire time, we’ve all bonded in an absolutely ridiculous and hysterical way. But I think for this group, it’s the best way it could have happened.
