Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today Caribbean Soul sailed for six hours. Advanced sailors reviewed, and beginner sailors got their first sail drills. We unfurled the jib for the first time, and practiced sail circles, tacking, jibing, and holding a steady heading. The weather was clear and sunny, causing a few minor sunburns. The wind was strong, and the waves were decent. We also continued to practice tying bowlines, clove, and half hitches. We even had an early morning after a good night’s sleep (no rain interruptions), and could not have asked for a better day. Of course, there are plenty more to come.
