Location: Marina Cay

Rule Number One is we are number one. We are the best. It’s hard to believe we are halfway through the third session! We have already accomplished a great deal. The Dolphins are starting their research dives for their projects. And they’re all working very hard on their quizzes and fish identification journals. Caleb, our only Neptune on Boss Lady, has completed his advanced open water certification and he is continuing finishing up his specialties. Our Rescue divers are just about done with their knowledge reviews and training sessions. Besides all the hard work we’ve been able to have a ton of fun. Here are some of the favorites from the first half.

Chandler is excited she completed her open water certification and loved swimming alongside a nurse shark. Leanne and Maddie loved diving on the airplane wreck. Lucas enjoyed diving on the 248 ft Korean refrigerator ship named Chikuzin. Pheobe has spent most of her time on the trampoline while sailing, enjoying the random waves that would get everyone soaked. Kristina, Benji, Caleb, and Carlton had a hard time choosing just one favorite dive, so they had to pick every single dive! They’ve all been awesome with loads of aquatic life. Harry has been working very hard but has been having loads of fun with the rescue scenarios. Joaquin had a blast swimming through an arch that was covered in coral at a site called Branco Billies. Anderson couldn’t pick one single thing that was his favorite, so he said everything. Everyone has seen stingrays, turtles, and we can’t get over the number of stars we see every night. The staff has enjoyed watching everyone grow with all the knowledge we’ve been sharing. Sam, Marina and I are very excited to see what adventures the second half of the trip brings! (P.S.-Happy Birthday Mom! 8/12).
