Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was our first rotation day together! We started the day off with knot tying, which was really confusing but also fun. We learned the square knot, bowline, figure 8, clove hitch, and cleat knot. After that, we went for our first dive. It was a controlled dive where we practiced our skills, including mask skills, regulator skills, and buoyancy skills. It was so cool, and we loved being underwater with the scuba gear. After our delicious lunch of PB+J or chicken salad, we tried windsurfing. While some were luckier than others, we all enjoyed the challenge of trying to actually use the windsurfs. As Lily says, I spent more time in the water than on the windsurf. Finally, after windsurfing, we went waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding with Davis and Ben, which was very exciting and gave everyone a chance to try something new or show off some old skills. It was such a fun day, and we can’t wait to sail out tomorrow.
