Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today was a very relaxing day compared to yesterday. We woke up and ate French toast while the staff were at a meeting. Then we departed from where we were anchored and headed to Sandy Spit. During this voyage the basic sailors took the practical part of their exam where they were tested on their ability to tack, jibe, and efficiently run a man overboard drill. At Sandy Spit we ate lunch and then played in the ocean. We did flips and dives as well as relaxed in the sun. Then we headed to the beach where we relaxed and talked to other kids on different boats. We headed back to our respective boats where we showered and started to prepare dinner. Dinner was really good and after we headed to another boat for Lifeworks. After that we came back to our boat and went to sleep.
