Location: Marina Cay

We started the day with breakfast burritos and banana muffins in Mountain Point. The first order of the day was to head to Marina Cay to refill on fresh water. As we were waiting for the water, four dolphins followed our boat around the harbor. After filling our water tanks, we set sail once again, this time practicing sailing circles- going through points of sail and jibing. One of the points of sail is close haul, hence the title. During the sail, we practiced knots that will be on the sailing test, such as the bowline, sheet bend, and clove hitch. After getting back to the anchorage, we had a dinner of tortellini and pasta sauce compliments to the chef.
