Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Today we woke up in Mountain Point to do another rotation day. Before we started on our first rotation we had a big breakfast. We learned about charts; most importantly that they are not called maps. We then split into two teams to find our location and more on the chart. Right after we took out two Picos and sailed around our new anchoring location. Some of us were successful, others capsized. Following that we all helped make two huge trays of grilled cheese. Once lunch was cleaned up we headed to our next location for rotations. Some of us went to another boat to work on a monkey’s fist knot, whilst others did watersports such as kneeboarding, wakeboarding, and waterskiing. We then switched and enjoyed a lot of rain at our new rotation. After everyone had done both knots and watersports, we all fervently boarded a dinghy to get to dive for the second time. After diving we all showered and enjoyed Caesar salad and risotto and corn for dinner. Tonight ended with a marshmallow war and we are all excited for another to rotation day tomorrow.
