Location: West End, Tortola

We woke up bright and early to prepare for the day’s race starting at The Bight on Norman Island, sailed on one tack to Road Town, the went around to Great Harbor. I manned the helm for the race, Jack and Anja controlled the jib sheets, and Emma had control of the main sheet. The wind was all over the place, resulting in many crash jibes and tacks. Due to a close call with Wind Shadow, we were far behind the couple ships who did not have to alter course. But after tacking for the second leg of the race for Great Harbor, we raced ahead of many ships and finished 4th, about a boat length behind second and third place. After finishing, we motored back to West End. From there we will dock and clean up before the final barbecue.
