Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
As our dearest Boat Mom, Jake, would say its not about the destination its about the journeyy and today has definitely been another step in our journey. We started off with some oatmeal for breakfast with fruit and after a quick cleanup went straight into learning how to use dive tables. It has a little confusing at first but it didn’t take long to get the hang of it. Then we motored to the beach and took turns sailing the little Zests. Reagan and I went out really far and needed a little direction getting back to the beach. After eating a lunch of white bean soup we went over to Blue Tide to learn about coral conservation which was really interesting. We then came back to the boat, changed, and motored over to the dock in Leverick Bay to fill our fresh water tanks and I learned how to “slap” a cleat knot onto a dock cleat. I then steered the boat to Mountain Point and we unfurled the job along the way. We got to watch the most beautiful sunset while eating a Mexican dinner and now we are about to take our RDP test. This trip has been one of the coolest experiences ever and I can’t wait to see where else this boat takes us. Salsa chips, out.
