Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today turned out to be one of my favorite days upon our voyage. We started off with an informative lecture about the conservation of our coral reefs and the sea creatures living in the water. Next, we got to snorkel and see some of our living coral in person. After a jam-packed morning, we ate lunch and had an hour to hang out with the rest of our extraordinary shipmates and staff members. Without a second to lose, everyone put on their gear and went wakeboarding. Although it was difficult for some shipmates, and me, everyone strived to make the best of the experience and gave it their best shot. We had a brief introduction to the knots that we have to know in order to obtain our sailing license. It was a very memorable experience because everyone was helping and encouraging each other until we all figured it out and perfected it.
