Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

After a night of watching the stars, we were awakened by the music of the radio. The chefs prepared bagels and yogurt before our morning dive. We continued to master skills in the water while exploring the reef and the animals that inhabit it. We left the water after successfully seeing stingrays and colorful fish. We continued our rotation day by moving to a new boat to learn how to make Turk’s head bracelets and water skiing, the best of the morning. The afternoon was spent snacking on Oreos and cookies, creating a rope swing off the boat, and learning about mangroves and knots. After our showers, the chefs began preparing a summer Thanksgiving dinner. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying our shipmates’ company and the view of the islands surrounding us.
