Today was another day bright and hot. We woke up at 6 am to start our journey on a 7-mile hike at Mt. Sage, which is the tallest point in the Virgin Islands. We reached the dock, hopping out of the dinghy standing by and waiting. Then we started our hike on a steep, curvy road for most of it. As we hiked, I saw the ocean from afar being breathtaking. We hiked and hiked until we reached our point, signing our names in a book. We then hiked back down as our calves burned and sweat dripped off all of us, but delicious lunch was waiting. After eating our body weight, it was time for a sandcastle competition with sand all over us, putting tons of work in. The sun was beating down, but the waves crashed onto our legs. We jumped back on the dinghies and headed to Blue Tide, who was looking mighty fine. Now a BBQ awaits us. What another great day. P.s. We obviously built the best sandcastle.
