Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We woke up in Vixen Point with an exciting rotation day ahead of us. We began our day with a snorkel at the mangroves. As the rest of the group began their snorkel, the Divemasters stayed back to go over some skills like duck diving and clearing our snorkels. Soon after, we rejoined the group for a super cool snorkel. We saw a lot of baby fish and coral. We also learned how important the mangroves were for our ecosystem. After our snorkel, we headed to the beach to sail the Zests and also windsurf! Then we got to wakeboard, waterski, and kneeboarding. After our lunch, we headed to a dive chat rotation. The Vegas learned about coral reef conservation, different fish, and corals, and the Divemasters went over the physics chapter in their theory section. After some swimming and hanging out, we are all getting ready for a fun barbecue at Levrick Bay tonight! Looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow!!
